The White Ribbon Mile Foundation has a new activity, an audio tour.
Since the start in 2019 there has always been the desire to have a tour starting from the Airbornemuseum at Hartenstein. This was the former HQ of the allied troops during the battle of Arnhem in September 1944.
The audiotour tells the story of a fictive soldier who is retreating through the woods guided by white ribbons. At the end of the story the soldier ends up on the banks of the river Rhine that he has yet to cross.
Six years after the first symbolic walk, there is now a path that leads through the woods from the museum to The Old Church in Oosterbeek. This path can be followed by following the yellow arrows pole to pole through the woods. The poles are from the Routebureau Veluwe.
